Nibble & Root is a home delivery service for fresh fruit and vegetables (and other local delicacies). We offer a subscription service for fruit and vegetable boxes in various sizes so you can set up regular deliveries (weekly), less regular deliveries or one-off deliveries, it's up to you! We're local to Pembrokeshire so our services will start there, but we hope to expand into far more areas of Wales. The products we supply are sourced in Wales wherever possible.

At the moment we offer 9 different boxes. Small/medium/large fruit-only boxes, small/medium/large vegetables-only boxes and small/medium/large mixed fruit and vegetables boxes. The price range is between £10-£29 and you can find all the options, plus more information about what's in the boxes in the 'Fruit & Veg' website menu option.

At the moment, boxes are fixed and seasonal, which means contents change each week depending on what’s available and what's freshest. From time to time, you might see thoughtful swaps. We’re exploring customisable options in future and we've added single fruit and vegetable items to our store if you want to add your own picks to your box order.

Each week’s box is packed with fresh, seasonal produce. A Medium Veg Box might include Pembrokeshire new potatoes, carrots, kale, mushrooms, and more. Mixed Boxes also have fruits like strawberries, apples, or bananas. See our box descriptions for more information about what you might expect to receive.

You don't have to have a subscription. You can order as a one-off or set up a recurring subscription. No contracts or long-term commitments—skip, pause, or cancel any time.

We currently deliver across Pembrokeshire and are expanding across Wales. The easiest way to check is to pop your postcode into our website checker at checkout or on our waitlist form. If we don’t yet deliver to you, we’ll let you know as soon as we do.

Each postcode is linked to a fixed delivery day of the week. For example, if your area is a Friday delivery, your order will always arrive on Fridays. You’ll see your delivery day when you enter your postcode.

No worries. Just tell us a safe place to leave your box (like a porch, shed, or with a neighbour). Your produce will be left securely, ready when you get home.

You can pause, skip, or cancel your box anytime via your account. We kindly ask for at least 48 hours’ notice before your delivery day so we can plan with our farmers.

We prioritise local sourcing: 1️⃣ Pembrokeshire first 2️⃣ Wider Wales 3️⃣ UK suppliers 4️⃣ Global (only when needed, like for bananas) You’ll always see where your food comes from.

Not all produce is certified organic. However, we work with growers who farm responsibly, minimise pesticides, and focus on sustainability.

We keep packaging minimal and use recyclable materials wherever possible. Please reuse or recycle your box.

Your box is packed shortly before delivery and transported locally to keep food miles low. Most produce is harvested within 1–2 days of packing.

We’re growing carefully to keep food miles low and support local farms sustainably. The waitlist helps us plan routes and prioritise areas with the most interest. As a thank you, you’ll get 10% off your first box.
